Offboarding is a checklist, ending in a verification

CategorysafetyManual5.5Evidencedocumented

ProblemDeleting a Bot removes its profile, conversation and routines, and leaves files and live browser sessions behind, because those were never scoped to it.

TechniquePause or delete its routines, sign out of the websites on the shared computer, uninstall the connectors and revoke their authorisation at source, remove sensitive files from /workspace, hide or delete the Bot, then ask a different Bot to attempt the access you just removed and confirm it fails.

Why it worksThe verification step is the only one that proves the rest worked.

When to useEvery offboarding, and any credential rotation.

When not toIf you may need the work later, hide rather than delete, but remember hiding does not pause routines.
